Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo. We store this to identify your account.

When you use GearSift, we store your gear list picks, price watch preferences, and affiliate click history.

How We Use It

• Gear lists and price alerts: Your saved picks and watched prices are stored so you can return to them across sessions.
• Price drop emails: If you choose to watch a product's price, we send you an email when it drops. You can unsubscribe from any alert email with one click.
• Click tracking: When you click an affiliate link, we record which product was clicked for analytics. This helps us understand what gear people are interested in.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. The only emails we send are price alerts you explicitly requested.
• We do not share your email with third parties.
• We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Authentication is handled by Supabase. Affiliate links go through AvantLink, which may set their own cookies per their privacy policy.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data from your loadout settings. This removes your profile, gear picks, price watches, and alert history permanently.
